Yesterday morning I decided to order out and called this Friendly's location to pick up some breakfast before work. I called at 8:45, and I had to leave to be at work by 10. So I had, over an hour right? Nope. I called, placed my order (of an order of pancakes, an order of French toast, and 2 sides of bacon) and was immediately shocked when the woman at the other end of the line said what sounded like $27 and some change and then hung up. I figured I had misheard her or maybe she mixed up her words, and told myself when I went into the store to pick up breakfast I would make sure the price was correct.

I went in and it took about 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that I was there. She pulled up my order and said the total was $27.63 and I was shocked. I asked her to go back over the order because that seemed high to me. Turns out, she hadn't closed out my order when someone else called to order, and she added their order of blueberry pancakes to mine. She then went into a long story about how they don't even have blueberries anymore and that she didn't know what to tell the woman who ordered it. I simply shrugged and asked when my order would be out (since at this point it was past 9am and I still had to go home and eat) and she assured me it would be just a few minutes. She then started talking to the man behind me who had come in during the price conversation of my order who she then proceeded to talk to while I stood there, giggling and kissing him.

Finally another 10 minutes go by, and my order is done. The girls hands me the bag and says "we put a bunch of syrup and butter in the bag for you" which was somewhat nice after everything else. The food is decent and it's very close to where I live. However it wasn't worth that big of a hassle just to get some pancakes.

Lobster Mac & cheese was unpleasant. Very dry & the garlic was overwhelming. Would have been better off getting a grilled cheese sandwich. On the plus side, kids eat free on Wednesday. We just happened to go with the grandkids today.

    HORRIFIED!!!
Tonight March 9 I took my daughter and 4 of her friends to friendly in Middleboro at 9:30 PM. We were greeted and told the hostess how many to be seated. After 5 minutes with only about 8 tables filled with about 5 going to a large party which was a team we were told that they would not be able to seat us as the kitchen was behind. We asked if they could have ice cream only and we again were told they could not seat us as they were too busy. I asked to speak with the manager and she would not come out front to speak to me and asked a waitress to clear a table for us. We approached the waitress to ask why she was clearing a table when the whole restaurant was available where she told us she should have left an hr ago and she didn't know why the manager was doing what she was doing.  The manger continued to converse with the individuals out back and never came forward to explain the situation. Beyond unprofessional in a time when chains are fighting to stay open she is turning business away.

With two small kids, there are only a few restaurants that they get excited about. After being told there was a 20 minute wait, we sat down and waited with two squirming toddlers. 30 minutes later, the group in front of us still hadn't been sat. With many open tables and many who had paid and left in the time we had been there, we left. Hostesses and waitresses all came up and checked the book, no one even spoke to us "we apologize the wait is longer than expected" would have been sufficient. I totally understand why they are going out of business. No one hustled or cared about customer service. My business will be given elsewhere.

So we stoped in on our way back to Plymouth to order sundaes to go as Plymouth tends to be um, a bit slow (me being nice!). They were packed and really busy behind the counter. Sarah waited on us and was AWESOME!! Super pleasant and upbeat and totally real. Great customer service and excellent sundae maker!! Thanks Sarah!!
